OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Two Council Bluffs neighbors have suffered significant damage to their homes from different types of incidents. But they claim it’s caused by the same source.
A recent day of reconstruction on Kenmore Avenue left Eileen all shook up.
“The big machine was breaking up the concrete,” said Eileen.
And the 88-year-old who didn’t want her last name used says she didn’t feel good vibrations.
“The house was shaking, I thought the house was going to fall, but I didn’t want to be in it so I went outside,” she said.
And so did her daughter, Maureen McDermott, who said gas lines broke outside and inside the house that needed emergency replacement not long after the machine operated.
