The suspect charged for the death of a jogger in the South Hill once again returned to court Tuesday for a detention rehearing following a violation of his electric home monitoring.

He was booked into the Spokane County Jail due to the fact that he was 18 when he violated his EHM detention, according to court documents, and the court determined he was a threat to community safety.

A pretrial court date has been scheduled for January 14, 2026. Trial is scheduled for January 26.
