Elon Musk has officially launched Grokipedia. It’s an online encyclopedia built by his company xAI and powered by the Grok large language model. The platform is positioned as a direct competitor to Wikipedia. While there are many differences between the two, the most significant lies in their foundation. Unlike Wikipedia, where articles are written, edited, and curated by thousands of human volunteers around the world, Grokipedia draws its information directly from Grok AI. However, while Grokipedia relies heavily on automation, it still leaves some room for human input.
