LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - This week’s “Thursday Night Throwdown” could likely decide the district champion as Estacado (7-2, 3-0) hosts Lubbock-Cooper Liberty (7-1, 2-0).
“We can’t wait. When you get to play a quality team like Estacado on Thursday night on TV, it’s something that all of our kids have been looking forward to, coaches are excited, and this game is going to be no different. Coach Ward does a great job over there, and he’s going to have his guys ready to go. It’s going to be a playoff atmosphere over there,” said Liberty head coach Joe Sexton.
