A hospitality firm with high-profile ties that managed operations for a string of establishments in Sydney and Melbourne is facing a seven-figure debt amid its collapse.
A second meeting of creditors of Linchpin Hospitality Pty Limited is set to take place after the company entered administration.
Venues the company provided management services to included several locations formerly in pub tycoon Jon Adgemis’ portfolio, including Sydney’s Empire Hotel and Hotel Diplomat, along with his recently listed Clifton Hotel in Melbourne.
The Daily Telegraph has reported the firm had more than $1.2 million debt upon entering administration.
That figure reportedly included an estimated $628,940 being owed to unsecured creditors, $386,622 to employees and $277,870 in statutory debts.
