NEW ULM — As trick-or-treaters show off their best costumes on Friday and collect candy, and forever memories are created with family, the New Ulm Police Department will be focused on maintaining community safety.
“We spread out to different sections of the city, so that we have more visibility. (There will be) nine officers working various shifts throughout evening and early morning hours,” said New Ulm Police Chief Dave Borchert.
Some of the best ways that Borchert advises staying safe this Halloween is to plan ahead and stay vigilant. In addition, he says be mindful of people walking around.
