Dallas Mavericks guard Brandon Williams was arrested for marijuana possession at DFW Airport last Saturday. Authorities reportedly discovered a black container holding roughly 1.5 ounces of marijuana in Williams’ suitcase that led to his detention at the airport jail.

After missing the team’s previous two games, Williams returned to the court for the Mavericks on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers. It seemed the arrest ignited a strong response from him on the floor.

Williams delivered an impressive performance against the Pacers on Wednesday. He finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists on 9-of-14 shooting. He did all in just 22 minutes of play.
