BATAVIA — No matter what the results are this November, District 9 (wards 4 and 5 in the city of Batavia) will have a new representative on the Genesee County Legislature.

Bob Bialkowski, currently an at-large member of the Batavia City Council, and John Borrelli, two of the candidates running for that Legislature seat, spoke to Independent Living of the Genesee Region staff and community members earlier this month during a Meet the Candidates event. Kathy Briggs is also running for that seat.
