GENESEO — Nearly 40 years after a campus fright made headlines, a former SUNY Geneseo student whose story sparked decades of local lore is once again in the public eye — this time to a global audience on Netflix.
Christopher Di Cesare, known for his 1985 experience inside Erie Hall, is featured in “True Haunting,” a new docuseries directed by horror filmmaker James Wan. The five-part series (the first three episodes feature Di Cesare’s story), which premiered Oct. 7, explores reported supernatural experiences through dramatized re-enactments and first-person interviews — including Di Cesare’s account of the three months that changed his life.
