MANHATTAN — If Kansas State football wants to realistically think about getting back in contention for a Big 12 Championship and a trip to Arlington, it's going to have to start with a win this weekend against one of the best teams in the country.

Kansas State (4-4, 3-2 Big 12) will host No. 13 Texas Tech on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

Lucky for the Wildcats, they've dominated the recent series with the Red Raiders (7-1, 4-1 Big 12), winning the last eight meetings. TTU hasn't won a game in Manhattan since 2008.

It's going to take quite the effort from the Wildcats to knock off a Red Raiders team that has College Football Playoff aspirations , but a win for K-State isn't off the table with the way it's played lately.
