But limited-time help from the province is on the way

The city may be asked to pay more for public health in 2026, but it can expect financial help from the provincial government, too.

At a general committee meeting on Monday night, Peterborough city councillors heard about the Lakelands Public Health cost-shared budget for 2026, approved on Oct. 15 by the board of health.
