Harmanpreet Kaur dropped the catch of Alyssa Healy during the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 semi-final between India and Australia at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Thursday.

The incident happened on the second ball of the third over after Aussie skipper Alyssa won the toss and asked Harmanpreet’s India to bowl first.

Renuka Singh Thakur bowled a fuller delivery outside off as Alyssa attempted a lofted shot, but the ball caught the upper part of her bat and went towards the right of mid off. Harmanpreet ran to her right, reached ou,t but did not manage to hold on to the catch.
