LADSON, S.C. (WCBD) – The lights, sounds, and the smell of delicious foods return to the Ladson Fairgrounds as the 2025 Coastal Carolina Fair gets underway Thursday afternoon.

For 11 days, people can enjoy all the fair has to offer, including more than 80 rides, games, animals, myriad food options, crafts, and vendors.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. on Thursday until 9 p.m., and times will vary throughout the schedule with extended hours on the weekends. (Click here for full schedule)

Heavy traffic is expected around the fair, especially during peak hours. Highway 78, Ladson Road, and College Park Road will all be impacted at times.
