MPs are now seeking clarification on Prince Andrew's rent-free agreement at Royal Lodge amid "serious and disturbing allegations". The scandal-ridden royal has been under increasing pressure to vacate his 30-room Windsor mansion due to his connections to the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, as well as the 'peppercorn' rent deal he has with the Crown Estate for the property, which means he has paid virtually nothing for more than two decades.

Now, the influential Parliamentary watchdog, known as the 'queen of select committees', is demanding answers from both the Treasury and Crown Estate about Andrew's profitable lease.
