TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)—Drivers may get a dismissal letter or a refund for a school zone violation in Tampa.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said anyone who received a school zone violation between 1:26 p.m. and 2:56 p.m. on specific Mondays near Citrus Park Elementary, Plato Academy, or Sgt. Smith Middle School will receive a dismissal letter or refund.

The refund or dismissal letter comes after HCSO learned that Plato Academy had canceled early release on Mondays.
