CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- On Saturday, a portion of Main Street in Catskill will be closed to traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the "Celebration of Cus" event, the Catskill Police Department announced. The event, hosted by Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson and his wife, will honor the life and legacy of his former trainer Cus D'Amato and the gym.

A "Celebration of Cus" will take place on Saturday outside the police department, 422 Main Street, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. According to the event announcement by Amsterdam-based printing company Sticker Mule, the day will begin with an invitation-only event inside the Cus D'Amato Gym from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and will follow with a public ceremony from 3 to 5 p.m.
