The Clackamas Cavaliers (4-4) play host to the Nelson Hawks (7-1) in a Week 9 Oregon high school football Thursday night showdown.

Coach James Holan’s Cavaliers sit in fourth place in the Mt. Hood Conference with a 2-2 record in conference games. They are coming off an exciting road win over Reynolds — 41-37 last Friday at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham.

The Hawks, coached by Aaron Hazel, sit atop the Mt. Hood Conference with a 4-0 conference record and can wrap up the outright MHC title by beating Clackamas. They are coming off arguably the biggest win in program history, 26-6 against Central Catholic last Friday.
