PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) -- As excitement builds for Halloween, many communities are preparing for a night full of costumes, candy, and celebration. But before the fun begins, AAA Mid-Atlantic is reminding everyone to make safety a top priority.
Jana Tidwell, Manager of Public Affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic, joined us to share important reminders for drivers, pedestrians, and partygoers.
According to the NHTSA, Halloween ranks among the top three days of the year for pedestrian injuries and fatalities. The agency also reports that roughly 40% of all Halloween night crashes in the U.S. involve impaired drivers.
