FilmSharks Acquires Sales To ‘The Convent’

FilmSharks has picked up world sales rights to The Convent . The film narrates the story of a convent located in the South of Spain, where a sect of unholy nuns served as a coven to find the perfect womb for the son of the devil to make his entry on earth. The film will have its world premiere on Saturday, November 1st, at Cinépolis Diana. The screening will be a red carpet gala of Mórbido Fest, an annual fantasy and horror film festival in Mexico City. The film was pre-sold to Meteor for German-speaking territories, where it will receive a 2026 release. “We fell in love with the project a while ago and were chasing it for a while with a lot of competitors bidding, making this a hard-to-get gem,” Guido Rud, Filmsharks Ceo, said in a statement.
