PERRY, Iowa — Amanda Jean Goff, 41, faces charges of Human Trafficking in the First Degree, according to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Perry Police Department.

Authorities took Goff into custody at the Sac County Jail, where she was held on related charges. This charge is classified as a class A felony.

Officials allege that in January, Goff brought a 14-year-old girl to a hotel in Perry with the intent for the victim to engage in commercial sexual activity with another individual. The investigation involved collaboration among city, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, with technical support from the Iowa Office to Combat Human Trafficking.
