WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - On Wednesday, a dangerous intersection in northwest Sedgwick County was turned into a four-way stop.
Sedgwick County Public Works transitioned 29th Street North and 135th Street West from two-way to four-way stop.
The intersection has been the site of several deadly crashes. The most recent happened back in August. A crash at the same intersection claimed the life of Sedgwick County Deputy Sidnee Carter.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office provided two reminders for drivers about a four-way stop: • The driver who arrives first goes first • If two vehicles arrive at the same time, the driver on the right has the right of way
