WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – U.S. Highway 77 is set to close for a week south of Augusta.

The highway will be closed at the railroad crossing starting Nov. 2 so BNSF Railroad crews can make repairs. The Kansas Department of Transportation says, weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be completed by Nov. 9.

Highway traffic will be detoured via Santa Fe Lake Road, SW 210th Street and U.S. Highway 54. For the latest information on road conditions across the state, visit KanDrive.gov or call 511.
