A storm system moving through central Pennsylvania today is bringing moderate to heavy rain with potential for gusty winds and even isolated tornadoes.
Wind gusts exceeding 40 mph are expected tonight into Friday.
The storm is sending waves of rain northward across the state this morning, with the heaviest precipitation expected during the middle of the day.
Southeastern counties face the greatest severe weather threat, with a chance of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and possibly an isolated tornado.
The high temperature in the Harrisburg area today is supposed to be in the mid-60s. The region is expected to get up to 2″ of rain.
