The Boston Red Sox won the free agency sweepstakes for Alex Bregman last offseason, but it only lasted one season as the star opted out of his contract this offseason.
With Bregman back in free agency, he's likely going to have quite a hot market considering how well he played for Boston this year.
The Athletic's Jim Bowden listed the Los Angeles Dodgers, who are still in the World Series, as one of the favorites to sign Bregman in free agency. Bowden also projected Bregman would sign for $182 million over six years.
