WASHINGTON — Floyd Roger Myers Jr., a former child actor who appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Jacksons: An American Dream, has died. He was 42.
Myers died of a heart attack early Wednesday at his home in Maryland, his mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ .
Trice told the outlet, which was the first to report his death, that she last spoke to her son just hours before his death.
In a Facebook post Wednesday, Trice shared a photo of her son with his children, writing, “This is not suppose to be so.”
Myers was a father of four.
He had suffered three previous heart attacks in the past three years, Trice told TMZ.
As a child actor, Myers gained recognition for portraying a young Will Smith in a 1992 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Later that year, he starred as a young
