The BJP on Thursday filed a complaint with the Bihar Chief Election Officer against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his “dance for votes” remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In its complaint, the party alleged that Gandhi’s remarks during his election rally in Muzaffarpur were “highly derogatory, indecent, and personal remarks against the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi”.

“During his public address, Shri Rahul Gandhi stated, ‘Before elections, if you ask Modi, he will dance to win votes’,” the complaint stated.
Such comments, the BJP alleged, are personal, mocking, and intended to insult the dignity of the highest constitutional office of the Republic of India.
