ST. CLOUD, Fla. – The City of St. Cloud has long been recognized for its proud connection to America’s veterans, so much so that it has earned the nickname “The Soldier City.” That history continues to grow stronger with the city’s latest initiative to honor those who have served.

Today, I’ll be speaking live with St. Cloud Mayor Chris Robertson, who recently established the St. Cloud Veterans Council, a new organization focused on celebrating the city’s deep military heritage while planning a look toward the future.

The council is composed of community members and veterans alike, all sharing a unified goal: to ensure St. Cloud remains a place where service members and their families are valued, recognized, and empowered.
