Bristol City have confirmed the appointment of Richard Scudamore to the Robins' board of directors, with the former Premier League and EFL chief executive aiming to help the Reds' hierarchy in their bid to bring Premier League football to south Bristol.
Scudamore, a lifelong City fan , served as CEO of the English Football League for two years before acting as both chief executive and then executive chairman of the Premier League between 1999 and 2018, when he decided to retire.
