A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Delaware and surrounding states as a storm brings heavy rain and high winds to the area.

The storm will bring heavy winds, which likely will stick around for Halloween.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, said a strong storm system is forecast to bring high winds, heavy rainfall, coastal flooding and a possible isolated severe storm to Delaware and parts of Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey on Oct. 30 and into Oct. 31.
