College basketball is almost back.

While Missouri football is on its second idle week of the season, Missouri basketball will get its 2025-26 campaign underway. Mizzou men’s hoops is coming off of a 22-12 season that saw the team return to the NCAA Tournament, but fall in the Round of 64 to Drake.

Missouri added five new transfers in the offseason, but the Tigers are widely relying on a strong returning core to make a return to the Big Dance.

The Tigers beat Kansas State 100-91 in an exhibition on Oct. 24 at Mizzou Arena. Anthony Robinson II, who was USA Today’s preseason All-SEC Defensive Player of the Year , scored a team-high 16 points, a mark shared by transfer guard Jayden Stone for Mizzou.
