The first trailer for Scream 7 has officially been released, and it provides a look at Sidney Prescott's family while confirming a popular fan theory about one character. Neve Campbell is back, leading Scream 7 's cast , which consists of new and returning characters.

Campbell was notably missing from Scream 6 after appearing in 2022's "requel," Scream. Scream 6 primarily focused on sisters, Sam and Tara Carpenter, and their friends, Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin. While Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy-Brown are reprising their roles as Chad and Mindy, Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega will not be returning for Scream 7 as the Carpenter sisters.

Among the Scream 7 newcomers are Joel McHale playing Sidney's husband, Mark Evans, and Isabel May, who portrays Sidney and Mark
