Rockabilly band Stray Cats have canceled an upcoming autumn tour of the U.S. due to frontman Brian Setzer’s ongoing health issues, according to Rolling Stone .
Setzer, 66, the band’s Grammy Award-winning guitarist and singer, announced the cancellation through the group’s Instagram page, citing a “serious illness” that has left him unable to perform.
“I’m heartbroken to share, due to serious illness, I am unable to perform and very regrettably have to cancel our Stray Cats tour,” Setzer wrote. “I know this affects so many people and I am devastated to have to deliver this news.”
