CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WFLA) -- A teacher in Southwest Florida may lose her job after she was accused of showing up to work high on cocaine and allowing students to use her vape.
Documents from the Lee County School District, obtained by WBBH, say the district has moved to fire Nuria Acuna, a teacher at Island Coast High School in Cape Coral.
Acuna was accused of being under the influence of cocaine in the classroom on February 13. Documents said the teacher allowed students to vape in her class and even allowed students to use her personal vape. She was also accused of selling snacks and drinks to her students.
