New Delhi, October 30 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party leaders, along with residents of Sangam Vihar, staged a protest today against Delhi Water Minister Parvesh Verma during his visit to the area over removal of municipal water tankers, which has led to a severe shortage of water for locals.
Delhi Police detained several protestors, including AAP workers and residents, when the situation escalated. The demonstrators demanded immediate restoration of water tankers or a permanent pipeline supply.
