BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Rachel Sennott was stumped. She had written a television series where the characters constantly talk about how much they love living in Los Angeles. It is not merely a passing fancy with the Southern California city but a deep passion.
They all loved L.A. She just wasn’t sure what to call the program about people loving L.A. that featured the Randy Newman song “I Love LA” in the first episode. The mystery continued.
Multiple titles were suggested but eventually everyone agreed the right title for the show would be the obvious, “I Love LA.” With its name intact, the eight-episode first season of “I Love LA” debuts at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 2 on HBO. New episodes will be available each week.
Sennott admits the obvious was always obvious as in the case of the Newman
