The next season of The White Lotus could be set to look very different, thanks to a major decision by the show’s creators.

A long-running feature of the award-winning show is its opulent hotels, where a large amount of the drama goes down between guests, to be enjoyed in equal measure alongside the property porn.

Up until now, the show has exclusively taken place in Four Seasons hotels, but Variety is reporting that the next series will take a different direction as HBO hasn’t renewed its marketing partnership with the hotel chain.

The White Lotus’ much-hyped fourth series is set to unfold in France , and while HBO has previously said exact locations were still a work in progress, it looks like creators have been honing in on Paris and the French Riviera.
