At 3-1, the Milwaukee Bucks are off to a surprising start in the Eastern Conference.
Giannis Antetokounmpo's trademark dominance has unsurprisingly buoyed their success (well, outside of his obvious travels). Through four games, the perennial MVP-caliber superstar is averaging 36 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, and a block per game with an unreal 72.2 true shooting percentage. Suffice it to say, the Bucks might not have the best roster outside of Antetokounmpo. But if he's playing like this, then they're always going to be very hard to beat.
Enter a huge home matchup against the undefeated Golden State Warriors on Thursday. As it stands, Antetokounmpo is listed as a game-time decision with a knee injury. On its face, that sounds like a guy who might not play. However, knowing it's the early season and that Antetokounmpo, like any NBA player, often deals with minor aches and pains, makes it a safe bet to expect him to play.
If you think Antetokounmpo would sit out a heavyweight game against one of the NBA's best teams with soreness, then you simply don't understand the top-15 all-time player.
