William David Boone, age 57, of Lexington County has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglary in the first degree, domestic violence in the first degree, and obstruction of justice.

Judge Jessica Salvini handed down the sentence following Boone's conviction by a Lexington County jury on Oct. 15. Under S.C. law, both burglary in the first degree and domestic violence in the first degree are considered violent and serious offenses. The burglary charge is also a "no parole offense.

According to a press release from the 11th Circuit Solicitor's Office, Boone forced entry into his former girlfriend's house on Sept. 26, 2024, then struck her with a metal pipe and multiple other objects in the house.
