A young man and a teen boy were arrested in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a motel in Newark, Delaware, police said.

According to Delaware State Police, the incident happened on October 15, 2025, around 11:15 p.m. at a Motel 6, located at 100 McIntosh Plaza in Newark.

Police said that a preliminary investigation revealed a woman met a man online and agreed to meet at Motel 6. When the man arrived, a second man approached moments later, armed with a handgun. That's when two individuals then demanded the victim's money and property and then fled.

The victim was not injured during the robbery, police said.
