TAMPA, Fla. – With Halloween night just around the corner, the Tampa Police Department (TPD) is taking proactive measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for the entire community, announcing an increased patrol presence across the city.
TPD is reminding residents and trick-or-treaters to prioritize safety and celebrate responsibly this year. Officers will be highly visible in neighborhoods and busy areas to maintain order and assist the public.
“Our officers will be out in full force to make sure everyone can enjoy Halloween safely,” said Chief Lee Bercaw . “We ask families to plan their evening in advance, stay in well-lit areas, and report any suspicious behavior immediately. A little preparation and awareness go a long way in keeping our community safe.”
