SHEPHERDSTOWN -- Sophomore midfielder Anaya Lozano scored on a pass from senior forward Lydia Gable at the 85:09 mark to lift Shepherd University (6-1-6, 5-1-6 PSAC East) to a 2-2 tie with No. 16 West Chester (10-1-4, 8-1-4 PSAC East) in PSAC East women’s soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.

Shepherd took the early lead as senior midfielder Josie Beezel scored on a feed from graduate student midfielder Sarah Peternel at the 5:12 mark.

West Chester tied the game when Lauren Reinhold scored on assists from Kianna Barber and Victoria Pungello at the 33:32 mark. The Golden Rams took a 2-1 advantage on an unassisted tally by Olivia Conroy at the 50:30 mark.
