... while the U.S. House of Representatives hasn’t been in session since Sept. 18, during what is now the second-longest federal government shutdown in history. (Pssst, they're still getting paid, while SNAP benefits will be cut off).
Why would that be?
One reason is that Speaker Mike Johnson knows that once the House is gaveled back in and a newly elected Arizona Democrat is finally seated, there will be 218 votes for a discharge petition to make the Jeffrey Epstein files public.
