TAMPA, Fla. – Those driving through downtown Tampa should prepare for temporary nighttime closures of a segment of Nebraska Avenue starting this Sunday, November 2nd. The closures, which are part of the ongoing Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project, will affect the area between Palm Avenue and Columbus Drive.

The road will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, on two consecutive weeks: November 2nd through November 6th, and again from November 9th through November 13th, weather permitting.

Drivers should plan for detours, which will be clearly marked with advanced warning signs and electronic message boards.
