Love it or hate it, few Halloween treats stir up as much emotion as candy corn .
And just in time for National Candy Corn Day (Oct. 30), the National Confectioners Association has revealed how Americans really eat the polarizing tri-colored candy.
According to a new survey , 58% of people believe you should eat the whole piece at once, while 28% start with the narrow white tip and 15% begin with the wider yellow end.
That’s right — the majority of candy corn fans are all-in-one-biters, no nibbling required. But for nearly half the population, the joy is in savoring it layer by layer.
No matter how you eat it, one thing’s for sure: it wouldn’t be Halloween without candy corn.
