Are you confused by all this 6-7 stuff? Dictionary.com has an explanation (and a special announcement).
The online dictionary announced on Oct. 29 that its Word of the Year is "6-7" (also "six-seven" and "67"), a slang phrase popularly used by Gen Alpha .
Some interpret the phrase to mean "so-so" or "maybe this, maybe that," according to a Dictionary.com news release.
"Others just blurt it out—online, in class or whenever they spot the number 67 in the wild," the release said. "The result is classic brainrot slang: purposefully nonsensical, endlessly remixable and all about being in on the absurdity."
If you're having a hard time understanding what brainrot slang is, think back to the 90s Budweiser commercials, the ones where people would say "What's Up" to each other in silli
