An emotional and teary-eyed Jemimah Rodrigues opened up on her mental struggles during the course of the Women's World Cup 2025 after her stunning knock against Australia in the semi-final. Jemimah remained unbeaten on 127 runs as India defeated Australia by five wickets to reach their third World Cup final.
The 25-year-old had an up-and-down tournament as she was dropped for the England game before coming into the side for the New Zealand game. Jemimah shut down all the noise with her knock and said at the post-match presentation that it was god who carried her throughout the innings.
Jemimah opened up about being dropped from the T20 World Cup 2024 squad and admitted that she was going through anxiety and cried each day.
