Sheertex tights maker SRTX Inc. has capped off a disastrous year by announcing the departure of its new CEO after less than two months on the job and launching a strategic review that could result in the sale of the company.
The company also announced temporary layoffs of nearly half of its 200 employees on Wednesday, a month after making a previous temporary work-force reduction permanent.
Founder and former CEO Katherine Homuth immediately threw her hat into the ring to return to SRTX, saying she had “submitted a proposal” to the company.
