PEPPER PIKE, Ohio -- The Orange Alumni Association has added 52 more names to the Veterans Honor Wall at Orange High School.
John Sangdahl, former Alumni Association president who came up with the idea for the project, said the additional names were placed on the wall Tuesday (Oct. 28) by Michael Hagyari, co-owner of Impression Media.
The 18-foot-wide wall, which features the heading, “In honor of the Lions who served,” was unveiled in a ceremony Nov. 12, 2023 -- one day after Veterans Day.
The wall recognizes Orange High School graduates and staff members who served their country, as well as some Orange students who did not graduate because they entered military service.
It now lists a total of 356 veterans, along with the year they graduated, rank and branch of the military in which
