While it’s not the grand prize, Lebanon High School is receiving a substantial amount of prize money to put toward facility upgrades.
On Thursday morning, T-Mobile announced the winner of the 2025 Friday Night 5G Lights competition . Lebanon, which was Oregon’s only representative among 25 nationwide finalists, came in second.
The winner was Dierks High School of Arkansas, with 1,988,665 votes. Lebanon was second place with 1,457,848 votes.
The grand prize was $1 million to put towards facilities upgrades, including a weight room renovation by GRonk Fitness, a consultation with stadium expereince experts and an all-expenses paid trip to the 2025 SEC Championship game for 16 representatives.
Every school that finished in the top 25 of the Friday Night 5G Lights competition gained $2
