CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The longest government shutdown in American history has left nearly 1.5 million civilian federal workers furloughed or forced to work without pay.
About 1.4 million Ohioans have also been without their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits since funding ran out on Nov. 1, which was the one-month marker since the government shutdown.
